At the Sunday evening service on 3rd April, Ballynahinch Congregational Church had a visit from Colin and Joanna Tinsley from Hope for Youth Ministries. They are currently very much involved in sending humanitarian aid to Poland for Ukrainian refugees.
After a very full account of what all was involved in this tremendous effort, enough aid had been donated to fill forty, 40ft articulated lorries along with £250,000!
At the end of this interesting account of how the people of Northern Ireland were rising to the occasion, a cheque for £2782 was given by the Rev Victor Neil, minister of Ballynahinch Congregational Church, on behalf of the congregation to add to the appeal.
