Graduation Day at Parent and Toddler Group

Wednesday 18^th June saw the final session of Parent and Toddler Group for this season. How time flies, don’t children grow up so fast!! Today we said goodbye to 11 children who will not be returning in the Autumn as they are moving on to Pre School or Primary School. One mum has been attending with her growing family for 10 years now. Her last child has now graduated. She has said she will miss us; we certainly will miss her and her family.

As a church we are indebted to Isobell and her team of helpers who faithfully carry on this work week by week during school terms.

The Memorial Hall is a very busy place each Wednesday morning from 10.30 to 12.30. There are lots of toys, fun and games for the children while parents and carers can relax and chat together over tea and toast.

It is lovely to see the children happy at play enjoying each other’s company and then settling down with their juice drinks.

All the graduates received a signed certificate and a leaving gift. We wish them all the best as they commence formal education in September.

Ice cream was provided for everyone as they were going home.
