Our Church BBQ took place on Friday 27th June evening up in the hills of Magherahamlet. The evening was very warm but there was some drizzle which prevented us from having a planned Treasure Hunt, however the weather did not dampen our spirits! With over 40 people attending there was lots of chat and news to catch up on. The fellowship and craic were amazing.

After we did justice to a delicious BBQ supper Jim Murray organized us into teams for a general knowledge quiz covering 4 different topics. There were winners and losers and some hilarious answers which had us in fits of laughter.

Thanks to Stephen, Laura and Isobell for the cooking of our BBQ food.

We must also thank Jimmy for hosting and organising the event, and all the ladies who supplied delicious salads, sauces, biscuits and drinks.  Our tea maker Lilian was also on hand with hot drinks tea and coffee.

At going home time the drizzle had ceased and we all agreed that we had had a most enjoyable evening together.
