George Speers
Rev
George Speers joined Ballynahinch Congregational Church as Minister in
January 2004. He was born in Glengormley (North Belfast) and worked for
several years as a social worker. He then moved into the work of Belfast
City Mission, before, in 1994, joining our Church as an assistant minister
to Rev Robert Courtney. After two years he was called to Moneymore
Congregational Church, and spent just over seven years as their minister,
before returning to Ballynahinch. Rev Speers' wife is Jacqueline who is also involved in the work of the
Church, leading the Ladies Fellowship and Prayer Meeting as well as being
an Officer in the GB and doing visitation.
